Search Tips – How to get the most out of searching in Tarius
In Tarius databases you can choose between simple search and advanced search. Simple search is used for broad searches and is usually followed by sorting the search result. Advanced search is used when you wish to make a more precise search, i.e. for a particular document or within a particular period of time.
The following describes general principles for searching in Tarius databases. The principles, which are similar to those used in other search engines such as Google, apply to both simple and advanced search.

When searching for more than one word, separate them with a space.

Search for an exact phrase by using quotation marks.

You cannot use truncation inside the quotation marks.

Use the Tarius filename to find a specific document.

tarinn:efavirenz This will find all documents (EPARS) with Efavirenz as the International Nonproprietary Name

Combination of search expressions.
